Accessibility statement
The Eljamel Inquiry team is committed to making all its work accessible. We recognise that this website is one of the main ways that we communicate and engage with members of the public. We understand that it is essential that we make it as accessible as possible.
This website has been created in alignment with Digital Scotland Service Standard. This is a set of fourteen stringent criteria that make sure that websites that are used by the public are both user friendly and fit for purpose.
The website also meets level AA of the WCAG 2.2. Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 defines how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. They are the global standard for website accessibility.
The website has been designed and tested so that it can be used in all common browsers and platforms and a wide variety of devices such as desktop computers, tablets and mobile phones. It has also been designed and tested so that it can be used by a range of commonly used Assistive Technology software.
We are continuously working to make our website as easy to use and accessible as possible for everyone. We will audit the website annually to make sure that all new content and functionality are still accessible. If we find any issues, we will take action to correct them or minimise their impact. If we are unable to correct an accessibility issue, we will list it on this page.
Please contact us at enquiries@eljamelinquiry.scot if you cannot access any part of the Inquiry’s website or if you want to report an accessibility problem.
